The best of the best! I had an amazing experience with Viking Heliski. The guides were amazing, the lodge was a great place to start and end the day, they had all the necessary gear, and incredible knowledge of the surrounding area and its ski potential. We had no hiccups through three full days of heliskiing and have nothing but good things to say. This operation is the real deal and I can’t recommend it more!

I had an unbelievable skiing experience with Viking Heliskiing for 4 days in early May.
Right from booking the trip I couldn’t have asked for a better service.
Sara was super helpful with sorting out my dates and flights etc. as I had to join the program as a single guest.
The skiing was off the chart – unreal terrain, stunning views and top notch corn snow. I’m so grateful to have experienced this artic adventure and will surely be back for more. Skiing vertical pitches at 45 degrees for a solid 7-800 vertical meters almost down to sea level in May is something every keen skier should try!
I had the pleasure of skiing with a local Icelandic guide Björn, half man half beast, aka the Skinny Bear. Björn not only knew the terrain like his back pocket but also had the enthusiasm of a 5 year old kid going wild in a candy store!
The activities after the skiing were awesome too. Going on the fjord in a kayak fishing cod is something that will always stay in my memory.
Everyone in the team of Viking Heliskiing made me feel welcome and I am forever grateful for my 4 unreal days in Siglufjordur.
I will be back!!

This was a once in a lifetime skiing experience, with beautiful, uninterrupted mountain views, incredible ski lines, professional and safe guides, and smooth, consistent spring snow. The service and attentiveness of Viking Heliskiing makes the trip even better – they think of little thoughtful details that help make the days run smoothly. The food is also excellent :). For those who are intermediate skiers, the terrain here is not as intimidating and is accessible and fun. For those who are advanced skiers, there are couloirs, chutes and steeps aplenty!

A truly phenomenal skiing experience. Siglo Hotel was beautifully decorated and comfortable with excellent food. The guides were skilled, patient and friendly. The helicopter pilots masterful. The other guests in the group were interesting and inclusive. The mountains and the views were stunning with a perfect layer of 2 inches of “corn” snow. A fabulous ambience. They say the best things in life to spend your money on are experiences ……

My trip in British Columbia through CMH was cancelled by the outfitter at the last minute. It was late April and I had two weeks to find a new place to go. I contacted Viking and Sara helped me find a spot in early May! Everything about the experience was excellent. The trip was in the first week of May 2022. We ended up with fresh snow nearly everyday up in the mountains. The daily apres ski at the heli pad and nightly dinners were amazing. All of their team and guides were first class! About to book my trip for this year.

We have spent 5 days having great time, fun and plenty of lines. We have found a place where you can ski also in June and with great snow! We love steep lines and speed. We will be back soon!
