We are proud to announce the soft opening of Höfði, our newest heliskiing accommodation, January 2025.
Höfði is a one-of-a-kind luxurious adventure resort located in the Northeastern Region of Iceland. The opening marks the beginning of a new chapter for Viking Heliskiing. Get ready for an unforgettable experience as we kick off the 2025 season at Höfði in March. We’re excited to share the magic of heliskiing in this remarkable setting!
A PERFECT BLEND OF LUXURY AND ADVENTURE
Höfði is a 5,500 square meters building offering 40 luxurious rooms, of which 4 are suites. Along with a restaurant and rooftop bar, Höfði has a gym, spa, and lounge areas. It also offers meeting rooms, helicopter pads, horse stables, indoor golf, and an entertainment room for young guests.
Höfði will offer a variety of activities such as hiking, biking, kayaking, hunting, fishing, and horseback riding.
LOCATION AND SURROUNDINGS
Höfði is located at the edge of Iceland’s northernmost region in the charming little fishing village of Grenivík.
The resort is perched on a 50-meter-high cliff. It offers spectacular scenery with ocean views overlooking the mountains on Látraströnd and the Troll Peninsula. Nestled in the heart of breathtaking surroundings, we promise an unforgettable experience for ski enthusiasts seeking the thrill of untouched powder and stunning vistas.
Höfði is only a 25-minute car ride from Akureyri, the largest town outside the Capital Region. The opening of Höfði will be a valuable addition to an already thriving tourism sector.
