Friends since childhood, Björgvin Björgvinsson and Jóhann Haukur Hafstein founded Viking Heliskiing in 2013. They are both former alpine skiing Olympians who have competed at the highest level worldwide. Björgvin and Jóhann, along with our team of guides, have a deep understanding and knowledge of the Troll Peninsula, our main playground. They lead our guests to the finest terrain while prioritizing the safety of all participants above all else. The Troll Peninsula is the ideal place for skiers/snowboarders, with numerous slopes awaiting their first descent.

When you leave the capital area of Iceland, you can expect rustic accommodation, but Hotel Sigló is a notable exception.
