Hermann
PILOT
Hermann hails from Maishofen, Austria, and is the co-founder of SENNAIR. He developed a passion for helicopters early in life, and his childhood dream of becoming a pilot was realized in 2013 — the same year he partnered with Lukas to establish SENNAIR. Hermann is deeply inspired by the boundless freedom that flying offers and the efficiency of swiftly traveling between locations. The stunning aerial views he experiences further ignite his fascination with helicopters.
Lukas
PILOT
Lukas is from Saalfelden, Austria, and is the founder of the helicopter company SENNAIR. Drawing on his experience as a former professional skier, he brings a unique and insightful perspective to his heliskiing flights, expertly navigating the slopes with insider knowledge.
Lukas has developed a genuine passion for a variety of aerial activities, including paragliding and helicopter flying. During the off-season, he dedicates time to managing his farm, often visiting his animals on the mountain pasture – sometimes even commuting by helicopter.
Tobias
PILOT
Tobias, a highly skilled pilot from Austria, has nurtured a passion for aviation since childhood. Fifteen years ago, he realized his dream of becoming a professional pilot. Alongside his expertise in the cockpit, Tobias is a seasoned freeride and backcountry skier, perfectly aligning with our heliskiing operations. His involvement in multiple freeski films highlights his deep commitment to both flying and skiing.
Max
PILOT
From a young age, Max has been fascinated by all things that fly, inspiring him to pursue his dream of becoming a pilot—a dream he successfully realized. While he flies with us in Iceland, his home base remains in Austria. Since 2018, Max has been a valued member of the SennAir Helicopter team, serving as both a helicopter pilot and head of technical operations.
Martin
PILOT
Martin, originally from Tamsweg, Austria, has been captivated by helicopters since childhood. When he’s not flying, this passionate ski mountaineer can be found exploring his mountainous backyard and logging vertical feet. With a background as a former mountain rescue team member, Martin brings valuable experience and expertise to every mission.
